CONSULTANTS WITH HANDS ON EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD?

After many years of keeping our “expert knowledge in house”, Simons Green Energy and Simons Boilers have responded to the overwhelming requests from both current and prospective clients and has decided to offer our consulting services to the general market.

It is our hands-on experience that sets us apart. We work directly in the design and implementation of sustainable and energy efficiency driven power and thermal solutions including high efficiency electric and gas boilers, cogeneration, absorption chilling, stirling engines and fuel cells. This experience raises the value of our energy analysis and consulting services to a level that cannot be matched in the field.

Since the company’s inception in 1932, Simons have been involved in small and large scale energy projects nationally and internationally. A significant proportion of our in-house work is dealing with complex integrated energy systems such as designing and installing complex hot water, steam, and electrical generation solutions.

Simons engineering group – which includes Simons Boilers and Simons Green Energy, has developed a robust process for analysing and implementing complex mechanical, electrical and thermal systems.  SGE has undertaken hundreds of technical evaluations for energy efficiency and generation systems within Australia – ranging from relatively straightforward plants for aquatic centres, to district-scale multi-faceted trigeneration system for commercial and industrial customers involving a variety of technologies such as engine and turbine based electrical generation, solar PV and battery storage.

Our dedicated team of professionals with expertise and qualifications in mechanical and electrical engineering, maintenance and technical services, environmental economics and auditing as well as project and energy management are now offering their services to the market on a specialty consultancy basis at a fraction of the cost of larger firms. Often Simons are commissioned by large Consulting firms to consult specific areas of technology. Talk to our experts to see if we can assist you with your projects.

With our experience and expertise, we are confident we can satisfy your requirements in an accurate, timely and cost effective manner.

Campbelltown City Council
PROJECT BRIEF
Campbelltown Arts Centre (owned and operated by Campbelltown City Council) and Aquafit Fitness and Leisure Centre (owned and operated by Campbelltown Catholic Club) are two iconic, highly used facilities located in the Campbelltown Local Government Area and Macarthur region.

In 2013, Simons Green Energy was appointed by Campbelltown City Council to conduct a feasibility study into the potential for development of a district-based cogeneration or trigeneration system to serve the electrical, heating and cooling needs of both Aquafit and the Arts Centre. The study looked at technical, economic, and commercial factors in order to assess the system was feasible.
